The majority of the campgrounds allow you to make reservations but with 4 days in advance only. Which is not great for us because we like to improvise or check out the campground before making the decision to where we stay.
The good thing is that in this area there are campgrounds with have of the sites reservable and half of them first come first serve basis. What we decided to do is to stay in Estes Park in a KOA private campground the first days to explore and decide where to stay the rest of the days. We found a cool campground and I am glad that they had some sites first come first sever because there are a lot of people during the summer is their highness season and almost everything was reserved on the weekends.
During these days we visited Fort Collins and Boulder. Both are pretty and small cities next to the mountains skirts. If you look one side of the citie you see mountains and at the other side just plain. Both cities have outdoor people and have been nominated as one of the best cities to live.
Boulder is a city full of students since the colorado university is there. It is a little like Austin Texas, they are relaxed, artistic and a little hippie. The cool part of this area are the mountains and rocks, that makes outdoor people choose this citie as their home. You see a lot of people on bicycles and it seems that they love pets. In the time we were visiting I saw 5 pet stores, everybody were petting our dogs, you could go to several places with dogs and sometimes they had water and even treats. This is the first city I know that they let you walk on the trails with your pets without their leashes. Luke Bailey and Jackson could be super happy here.

La mayoria de los campamentos aceptan reservaciones con mínimo 4 días de anticipación. Lo cual no es tan viable para nosotros porque nos gusta improvisar o ver el campamento antes de tomar la decisión de quedarnos.
Lo bueno es que en esta área hay campamentos que tienen la mitad de los lugares para reservar y la otra mitad para el que llegue primero. Lo que decidimos es quedarnos en un campamento privado KOA en Estes Park por los primeros días he ir a explorar y decidir donde queremos quedarnos el resto de los días. Encontramos un campamento padriurix, y me da gusto que si tenían lugares no reservables ya que hay mil de gente en esta temporada y casi todo esta reservado sobre todo en los fines de semana.
Durante estos días visitamos Fort Collins y Boulder. Las dos pequenias ciudades están bonitas pegadas a las faldas de las montañas. Osea de un lado ves montañas y del otro completamente planicie. Ambas con gente que disfruta de actividades al aire libre y han sido nominadas como de las mejores ciudades en donde vivir.
Boulder es una ciudad llena de estudiantes ya que la universidad de colorado esta ahí. Se parece a Austin Texas por lo relajado, artístico y un poco hippie. Lo padre de aquí son las montañas y las rocas, lo que hace que gente que le gusta ejercitarse afuera viva aquí. Ves muchas gente en bicicletas y parece que aman a las mascotas porque solo en lo que estuvimos ahí vi como 5 tiendas para perros, todo mundo acariciaba a nuestros perros, podías entrar a varios lugares con los perros y hasta tenían agua y a veces galletas para perros. Es mas es la única ciudad que conozco en donde te dejan que tu perro ande sin correa dentro de los caminos en las montañas. Luke, Bailey y Jackson serian súper felices aquí.
