Madison WI exploring the dairy state (explorando el estado lacteo)

We arrived at the Wisconsin capital, we stayed in the county campgrounds. For some reason y was expecting that to like the city a lot after Milwaukee surprised me but this didn’t happened. It is a small college town but the university is big one of the largest in United States. The university is cool and next to the lake, the Capitol is monumental and the plaza is big. It looks like lil D (Denton TX) because of the coffee shops and all the local restaurants, also because it is a little hippie. But of course that lil D is still my favorite even though it has a courthouse instead of a capitol but it might be because I am emotionally attached. There are several lakes smaller than the lake Michigan which they can’t be compared. Besides that the Michigan lake it looks more like a mini sea because it has beaches, waves and the water is more clear. The town is niceĀ  but not what I was hoping for.

Tonight we had our first cookout and I think we did pretty good :) and also I finally put together the screen tent that I won at buses by the beach. I like it let’s see if we get to use it much or not.

Next day i went for a walk and it was just perfect. I didn’t realize that by crossing the street there were this green hills with green grass trails surrounded by about 4 feet high plants with different color flowers buy predominantly yellow. It was like a labyrinth but you could still see the hills. The sunset was beautiful with clouds that allow a wide spectrum of colors like purple, pink and yellow. As I was walking i saw a guy that was contemplating a firefly when he saw me he started walking and pretending he wasn’t staring but then he turned around and said, isn’t this beautiful? and I said yes I was thinking the same, the perfect weather, the beautiful landscape and the sunset make it perfect than we kept walking our ways. Even though we are individuals and so unique we all still admire and enjoy nature. I kept thinking how many people were enjoying that sunset that night?
